Limitless

Limitless is a rules-light RPG system that puts imagination and creativity front and center. Perfect for adventurous one-shots, sessions are built upon a group of powerful beings (you) going on short, fantastical journeys. There are no stats, skills, or items. Simply do whatever your brain can dream up and then roll a pool of six sided dice (D6s) to see if you succeed.

Want to cross over a chasm? Cast a gust of wind to fling you there. Want to make a goblin think he’s got spiders crawling all over his face? Cast a psychic spell to make that happen. The possibilities are truly Limitless!

Only the player rolls dice! 
There is no HP, and instead players take on narrative wounds.
All you need is a character sheet, at least one other friend, and some D6s, and you're ready to play a game of Limitless!

Player Characters cast magic by rolling 1D6 for every test, spending between 1-5 Aura (consumable resource) to roll 1-5 additional dice, succeeding if at least one of the dice rolled is a 4+

Players can cast any kind of magic they wish; however, the scope should be that of something out of Sword in the Stone. You're not gods moving mountains or pulling the moon from orbit. If you want to cast magic that's a bit stronger, you spend your other resource, bloom. 

Character Creation takes minutes. Simply come up with a specific one-word magic type that your character is especially skilled in. Maybe you are the FLAME Mage, or the TRANSFIGURATION Mage, or the THREAD Mage, or the BONE Mage or the FLOWER Mage. Whatever word inspires you. How might your character use magic based on this chosen word?
